Basically, it's similar at single-threaded performance and more efficient but slower at heavily multithreaded tasks.

Google "passmark AI 7 350" (Single-core benchmark is 3911, multi-core: 24548) and "passmark Ultra 7 255hx" (Single-core 4661, multi-core 50,946)
So: roughly 15% slower single core and 50% (!!) slower multi-core performance

Pure performance for gaming and productivity? No.
These processors are really not competing with eachother, the Ryzen is aimed towards perf and efficiency while the 255HX is just the desktop SOC shoved into a laptop.
