19% reviews are 3-star or less. 9% of those reviews are 1-star.

Staffers, please learn the difference between a DISCOUNT and a "DEAL". When 1 in 10 customers are willing to submit the lowest review possible, it is a roll of the dice and a red flag. When 1 in 5 customers are not happy enough with the product that they give it 3-stars or less, there is a reason. For the good of the community, please learn to better evaluate review trends. When these types of posts are made, it feels more like a staffer quota is being fulfilled than a true slick deal.

it's worse - 403 reviews - of which 83 are one-star.

and if you've tried to submit a critical review lately, you'll know the obstacles they put in your way (for example mentioning that drinking straws or toothpicks are just hanging loose in a very flimsy box is unhygenic is verboten, becase you're not allowed to talk about packaging).

how many honest, helpful crtitical reviews are amazon blackholing?

I'll take an ASUS for twice the price over another UFO brand from the Sunday Jumble.
