I Should also note that you should be able to get the Free Apple Pencil Pro as part of Apple's back to school promotion that's listed on there website just make sure to add the pencil pro to your cart and it'll show it at $0

couple things:
1. if your card gets charged and you didnt pay via paypal, congrats, your order is getting shipped
2. if your order status says fulfilled, it's getting shipped for sure
3. if it says shipping soon, it might still get cancelled.
4. the earlier you order, the higher chance of it shipping, but dont be surprised if ppl who ordered after you from a diff uni got theirs and you didn't. it's all luck.
5. tax will be charged on the full msrp of the pencil, not a huge deal

I was charged $8.46 and the Apple Pencil is being delivered today. iPad says not ready.

Was anyone charged the full price on the Apple Pencil and had it ship ?

Those that did get tracking info for the iPad, can you please look at the details and see who the sender is or where it's shipping out of? If it's a fulfillment distributor like D&H, I'm still hopeful I'll get it. If it's an actual bookstore... Frown

My pencil shipped and is out for delivery today, but the iPad still says not ready. But my pencil went from not ready to fulfilled, none of the statuses in between? Hope my iPad doesn't get canceled. Have only been charged $8.54 for the shipping so far

Purchased the iPad Air yesterday along with the free Pencil Pro. Realized that I purchased this on impulse when I already have a iPad Pro and iPad mini, I emailed them to cancel my order. They responded a few hours later that they were able to cancel the iPad but that the pencil cancellation was pending confirmation from warehouse. Got a shipping email not long afterwards that the Pencil shipped and the receipt shows 1 cent for the Pencil and $26 for next day shipping. So I got a free Pencil Pro I guess?

2 orders cancelled, one ramains as "in process - not ready". I didn't completely give up on this one until I read a few comments saying that orders can stay in that status for weeks.

What kind of messed up order fulfillment / inventory system is that?

Purchase ipad with the pencil yesterday morning with 2 Day shipping, got an email in the evening saying Ipad will ship soon, my CC was charged for the shipping charges. The pencil still says not ready.
