I Should also note that you should be able to get the Free Apple Pencil Pro as part of Apple's back to school promotion that's listed on there website just make sure to add the pencil pro to your cart and it'll show it at $0

couple things:
1. if your card gets charged and you didnt pay via paypal, congrats, your order is getting shipped
2. if your order status says fulfilled, it's getting shipped for sure
3. if it says shipping soon, it might still get cancelled.
4. the earlier you order, the higher chance of it shipping, but dont be surprised if ppl who ordered after you from a diff uni got theirs and you didn't. it's all luck.
5. tax will be charged on the full msrp of the pencil, not a huge deal

got the pencil pro. waiting on ipad. how may received the ipad. mine does not even have any tracking for ipad. no cancellation email yet. any one in the same boat?

damn, ipad got cancelled due to payment declined but apple pencil did not get cancelled but I think it shows $119 not ready with next day shipping. college bookstore closed on weekends. I need to cancel before they charge me full price...i guess i can only call the college bookstore to cancel the order? Did anyone get the apple pencil for free but had the ipad cancelled?

I've been charged $25 and received the pencil already. I think I was charged $25 instead of $8 since I did the expedited shipping. iPad says ships soon.

Dang, lucky. I got the 13 inch M2. The model number is A2899. I didn't pay for quick shipping, but still got my iPad and pencil pro in one package on Friday, so I'm happy with it. Hope to get another one when this deal rolls around again.

Based on the the previous deal's thread from a month ago, it's safe to assume that those with the "on order, ships soon" status will eventually get a cancellation email. Possibly a few weeks later.

This sucks. This could have been my second best slick deal after the HP TouchPad from many many years ago. At least I (hopefully) got the pencil for $8.

So I think there are many people here who received "free" Apple Pencil Pro but their iPad was cancelled. What are the chances that they later charge full price for the Apple Pencil? Has this happened with previous deals?
