1. if your card gets charged and you didnt pay via paypal, congrats, your order is getting shipped

edit: hmm, just received a tracking notice from UPS for a package originating from "D&H Distributing" (which seems to be some kind of electronics distributor??) with the origin scan occurring in Hodgkins, Illinois. It says the package is 0.70 lbs, or 11.2 ounces. I guess this could be the pen??
still no apparent charge on my account beyond the original $8.56 charge. my guess is they're going to ship me the pen, then charge me the full amount for it, and never ship me the iPad. we'll see.

I ordered 11 inch 256gb iPad with the pencil with store pick-up option since I work at the university where one of the bookstore is located, and my order was cancelled 9 hours later with "Cancelled – We're sorry, this item is not available. Please order in another color/size (if applicable), or contact us for assistance."
Today, I stopped by the bookstore to check if they have any M2 in stock. You know... Curiosity..
They have two 11 inch 256gb in stock at the bookstore. So, I told them what happened, and they wanted to check my order number. They could not find my order number in their system at all. They also asked me to show them my order status emails just to make sure I placed that order.
Bookstore was not able to help at all due to limitations of their system, and suggested that I call customer service. I called and explained the situation. The customer service rep told me that my order was never placed because I put the order after "the limit". I asked what they mean by the limit, and they told me the system does not take/process orders after a certain number of orders placed for a sale item. So, we actually never ordered the item if we did not place it in the first 10 minutes.....
My pencil has been in the "fulfilled" status since Thursday, but I haven't received any tracking # and FedEx and UPS are not showing any unknown inbound packages.
