Pretty sure it will - clamp opens up to 1.5 inch.

I bought the xl one from the previous deal. these come with clamps so you dont have to hold it the entire time. an umbrella will provide more coverage.

We used these in our cubicles at work to shield our eyes from the overhead fluorescent lights. Dozens of us had them. I still have mine, but we all work from home now, so they aren't needed for that purpose any longer.

I got 2 of this size and 2 of the XL size a couple of weeks ago on Woot. The XLs were only $15 each and I highly recommend the larger size. The standard size are ok, but the XL gives much more coverage. I mount to camp chairs and even mount to a tripod to keep my GoPro shaded at my kids baseball games.

They're not much less money and inferior. They don't have a hinge like these and the button linking the two pieces on mine is rusting.
