This card is supposed to have loud fans and bad cooling design. People say it can be fixed by some undervolting and adjusting the fan curve. If you are not comfortable doing that and are bothered by noise (which really isn't as bad as the reddit police make it sound) it is not for you. Otherwise it is the cheapest 5070 TI you can get your hands on as far as I am aware and this is between 10-40 dollars of the usual going rate.

Some said the same thing about loud fans on the PNY 5070 Ti ARGB Overclocked Triple Fan that I just got, but mine is pretty silent, so it's always a crapshoot with GPU's and fan noise. I'm lucky…so far.

I mean you can buy this at $40 over MSRP or AMD's 9070XT for $120 over MSRP, take your pick …

I've had this card for several months and run into none of the issues you mentioned. It runs cool and the fans are not loud at all. I can max out settings on any game I throw at it, while the card runs cool with no issues. I would buy this card again in a heartbeat. If you look at the reviews on NewEgg, most reviews are very positive.

4080 was $1200 MSRP then reduced to $1000 before vanishing off the shelves.

That doesn't somehow justify spending $800 on a x70 class card. These should be $600, max.
