Pretty sure this is a common strategy; they'll slightly change a model # precisely so price matching risk is reduced.

You'll be pushing it in my opinion with the pixel density. It'll be usable but just make sure you're far enough from that TV. You'll need to be at least 35 to 40 in in my opinion.
??? should be 3840 x 2160 - ppi should be fine but the refresh is 60hz.. would work in a push Smilie

Will the free 43" screen passable to use as a computer monitor if one doesnt game?
It'll work just fine, just don't expect the best picture quality as in black levels and screen uniformity and other PQ aspects, know that it may feel a bit oddly large if you're sitting at a normal size desk distance. You get what you pay for with that free tv.

And despite what a lot of people say you can totally game on a 60hz tv just fine, just lock the frame rate in game to 60hz and it's gaming like we were used to up until higher refresh rate gear came out. Even now most people out there in the world are gaming on video cards that are only capable of 60hz.

For those of you looking to replace or compare with projection, here is an article that uses this TV in the comparison: https://www.thesmarthomehookup.co...or-vs-ust/

Any other professional/reputable reviews out there? I'd like to find calibration settings

Where is the link for this free 43in tv deal? I don't see anything on BB site that says free 43in when you buy this 100in tv. is this free deal still even valid??

None needed. Just lean it against the wall. It'll cover the entire wall.

Anyone use the closer to $100 full motion wall mounts?

Not so much to extend it regularly or permanently, but simply just on occasions to pull tv out to adjust cables and such.

How does this compare TCL 98QM7K?
I have the tcl and it's worth the extra few hundreds. Compared the 2, and the tcl had much better blacks and overall color is accurate and vibrant. U don't see the gray and white halos. Qm7 is the better balance for price and quality. Going qm8 I don't see is worth the extra$ if ur have a budget. And going to u70 u lose alot of that pq.

But u can't go wrong for a 100" full micro array tv for 1400 and free 48". It was an easier decision back around black Friday when the u76 was 1800 and the qm7 was 2k. If my memory wad correct.

Thanks! I do have the order of the TCL to be delivered and installed on Tuesday, but with a $600 price difference I wanted to see if it makes more sense to change to the Hisense and save some money.

But it seems like I will be keeping the TCL for better PQ as it is the main TV in the living room.

Thanks!
