I've spent thousands of dollars on Vudu through many years, vowing to "do it right", if they go under, and I lose everything, that will be my final straw to go back to piracy, and I will pirate absolutely everything forever more.

Are they in financial trouble? I'm not in the apple ecosystem so I don't care about them. I would be surprised to hear Fandango at home/vudu was having issues.

Hi,

I'm pretty sure they are okay right now, but past online video holding sites have gone out of business and were taken over by vudu.

my videos have luckily been moved a few times over the past 8 years , each time the previous sites went out of business.

I ended up buying the firefly series for $7.99

It's doubtful that they go completely out of business...they are a joint venture of a joint-venture between NBCUniversal and Warner Bros. Discovery. Both of those are multi-billion dollar organizations and the studios behind the movies...why would anybody buy directly from NBC or WB and not Itunes if NBC or WB don't stand behind their business..

I agree, it would be a REALLY good deal, but it's a whole season (13 episodes, 10.5ish hours) for $8. It's extremely re-watchable. I'd say it's already a good deal.
