Merino wool is good for temperature regulation in either direction. These are specifically listed as "lightweight" so they should be fine for summer use (especially good for things like camping and hiking or other exercising since merino wool is also supposed to be somewhat antimicrobial and stink resistant).

Looks like the usual cost is $16-19 on Amazon for the 3 pack, so a few dollars off here. Amazon reviews compare them to the thinness of dress socks, and pictures show them to be very see through thin, so take that into account.

Good price on wool socks, although I wear wool socks for warmth in the winter, which doesn't go along with them being ankle socks.

In for 2 bundles, thanks! I wear wool even in the summer since it wicks moisture so 6 pairs should last me a week and replace some of my old REI wool ones that are wearing out.
