any concerns for spyware with this?
Absolutely. I got one and immediately retrieved the windows key then did a fresh install.

I bought this a week ago. After seeing it up, I downloaded the Passmark benchmark suite and ran it. I've been pleasantly surprised by the CPU speed, even though it's bottom-of-the-barrel. It's you compared to my older PCs. Definitely worth of surfing, streaming, and productivity apps. I was unfortunately disappointed with the GPU though. I knew I wouldn't be able to play the latest games, but that was okay with me. I play decade-old games (League of Legends, Civ 4, Arkham Asylum, etc.). I thought I'd be able to play my old games on high settings though. That didn't work out. They run okay on pretty low settings.

I got this exact PC and it will blue screen when you move/shake this tiny PC box. Sometimes when I bump my table it will just blue screen. Doesn't happen to the gmktec PC box, those I can pick up and move around and it doesn't blue screen

Your particular unit is probably defective, something loose inside causing a short, try to exchange it if you can.

Consider whether this can sustain 24x7 operation. Although I didn't have a failing mini PC power adapter, I did have at least one failing/problematic 12v power adapter for my cable modem. Another thing is whether to run an external desktop hard drive 24x7. I had one Seagate external desktop HDD connected to a raspberry pi as NAS (with ext4), and it eventually failed after about 5 years and something. This isn't too bad, considering that the disk and enclosure isn't designed for 24x7 operation. It would be nice if someone can educate me whether those purpose built NAS use only components that can do 24x7.
Most of the popular NAS are designed to run 24/7. If they weren't, then it would negate one of the main purposes of a NAS. Most hardware designed to be network connected will also be designed to run 24/7 since there isn't a use case where you would be powering network hardware on and off at random times throughout the day. This applies to the popular brands like synology or terramaster. Can't speak for the Chinese knock offs or the WD NAS external drives.

You don't need to retrieve the windows key. It is associated to the computer and activates automatically when you reinstall windows.
