These things are great. Air drying helps prevent shrinking, extends the life your clothes, and saves on your electric bill. I recommend doing a tumble dry first to get wrinkles out & then move them to the rack overnight. Pro tip: turn your clothes inside out when you do laundry to lessen the wear and tear when going through the washer. To save even more money, look up Fels Naptha laundry detergent on Google. You can make a big jar for cheap if you do the steps.

Don't those skinny, dowel-rod sized cross members leave a long wrinkle across anything you dry on it?

You can probably put a towel over the rods to prevent wrinkles.

You can hang clothes over two or more rods to distribute the weight. The tension on the fabric won't all be on one line. Plus any fabric that's laying on top won't be pulling on the rest of the fabric.

Heck yeah. We have two wooden ones that have served us since getting married in 2010. The smaller of our two is the exact same dimensions and has finally started to, shall we say, slowly disassemble itself. Some days it's fine, some days it leans like a smooth criminal.

I like this style better. Target usually has it on sale. Picked it up for $13 last week.

I also prefer this style, but it takes up more space when it's deployed
