I had the same conversation today with the store manager, they said as long as I come in on the 1-day sale day, they would match it.

So I bought the orange one today as I need it this weekend to do a brake job on my Tesla, and my old 1.5 ton jack is inadequate for such a heavy car.
I bought the orange one today too. I won't use it this weekend tho. I was afraid it will be sold out on Monday. The local store only has 4 left. I bought the last orange one.

Will it be $100 off the current price or off of their comparable retail price?

Is this too much for the casual oil change and car repair? I'm an average joe who works on a mini van from time to time and maybe another car once in a while. Is there anything cheaper with the same convenience or is this good for the price?
This is what I use. I work on my car as a DIYer.

You will need two of these jacks to do the forward cross rotation. jack stands won't do it because of the jack points and battery under your cars.

whats the diff for 2ton trolley jack or 3 ton floor jack? $49.99 vs $100-200+ msrp. it's gotta be better then the ones included with the vehicle right?

There might be cheaper ones but the build quality on this is amazing for that price

I have one exactly for the use case you mentioned. Big thing is the ease of use. Yes it sits in my garage unused most of the time, but being able to jack a car super easy is well worth it when it's needed.

The trolley jack can't lift as high and isn't as low profile either. It also has a much shorter handle that requires more effort to pump.
The scissor jacks that come with cars are only meant for lifting up one wheel at a time so that you can switch out a tire. It probably won't lift high enough for you to get under the car, and even if it did they can fall over pretty easily, so don't do that.
