Just looking at it, I'd expect it to fail in the first hour of use at the handle's connection points.
Anyone have this and think it's strong enough to mess with?

My thoughts exactly. Unless if it's being used in a topsoil type garden where everything isn't compacted like normal ground soil typically is. The hoe and tines look weak and the other fail point would be the hollow screw together handle. I own plenty of things with these type handles and would never want something like this with one

Not a big fan of purchasing tools that need to be assembled by twisting as they become the weak point.

I agree with these comments, If you need a hoe, get a strong one or it will break quickly. I bought this one and I am very happy with it: Truper Tru-Pro Forged Steel Garden Hoe 54 in. The handle is fiberglass, but one piece. Sure, it 3 times the price, but it won't end-up in the landfill after a few weeks.
