Do you post this on the Sams Club/Costco/BJs deals or What about every Amazon Prime deal under $20 where a membership is required? The instore YMMV deals? With veterans being 5%+ of the population maybe you can't get on it but someone who you know may be able to take advantage of it. If I see a deal I can't get but it tells me that it's available near someone I know who may take advantage, I let them know.

Veterans account for about 6% of the US population--add to that dependents and those currently serving. So probably more than .0000001%...

That's a silly question. FYI some slickdealer are veterans and can take advantage. Sucks that you're hurt about that...

To all of the people who complain every time that they can't take advantage of deals that are for military veterans I just want to tell you as a veteran it is kind of a slap in the face. Please stop complaining about not having access to something that requires a minimum of 4 years of sacrifice to serve this country. Veterans have one of the highest rates of mental illness, homelessness, physical disabilities etc. in this country. While politicians like to pontificate how much they 'support' our veterans, the harsh reality is that the most that veterans actually get are a few "thank you for your service" comments. Military service in this country is not mandatory. The people who serve and die for your freedoms do this voluntarily day in and day out. As a veteran I appreciate when people post specific deals to the military exchange because I don't have the time to check deals on their website every day. It is much more convenient to come to an aggregate site like slick deals and see curated deals that apply to my interests from accross the web. If you think about it, it truly is a first world problem to complain that a specific deal is not attainable for yourself but before you complain, think about what you are doing. Is your goal in your complaint that people stop posting deals to the military exchange? So you want people like me who are busy to NOT be aware of a deal that they can take advantage of because you can't? Sounds very selfish to me. Of ANY group in this country, veterans should be appreciated and supported. Not torn down and made to feel bad.
Thank you for your time to read this.

I don't disagree with your overall point, but there's a chasmic difference between something *anyone* can sign up for to partake in and something that you can't.
Anyone is free to talk with a recruiter to sign up for military service: https://www.goarmy.com/how-to-joi.../recruiter
Or apply for a job with AAFES: https://www.applymyexchange.com/

It would have been great if this was 512GB or 1 TB. Need something to replace my MBP mid-2009 that just died, the indicator light for the charger doesn't even come on. Would this be an overkill for my two middle schoolers? Or can someone recommend something else, HP? TIA 🌺
The 16/512GB and 24/512GB models are ALSO on sale for the same $300 off, which is a slick deal! As are the 15-inch models. The ≥1TB storage and ≥32GB memory units are Apple-only Build-To-Order, and aren't available generally at retailers like this; can only get them through Apple directly.
My recommendation (and the model I have) is the 24/512. Good memory future-proofing, just enough storage. And with Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 40Gb/s onboard the MacBook Air, Samsung's T7 external SSDs are a great addition for storing larger files like photo or music libraries and virtual machines… plenty fast enough and highly portable.

In for one. My last order in 2022 was stuck in the fraud dept when using a different card. Turns out you must use a credit card with billing and shipping address the same. They would not ship to a different address than billing to ensure its genuine. No PO boxes either!

I had to talk to fraud today similar reason my billing is a P.O. Box and shipping a regular address after answering several questions to validate my identity they cleared the order and it was sent to fulfillment. If I would have he my DOD number handy that also would have helped.

That extra +$200 to gain 8GB ram and +$200 again for 256GB storage is hard to swallow to future proof one of these (57% of base cost). Might as well save it towards a new one in the future.

Why post deals that only .0000001% of slickdealers can take advantage of?

With the population of the United States, that would be 33 people. Do we only have 33 veterans and their dependents in our country??
