Im not an owner of this but I have owned a Micra(amazing) and do own a Leatherman Free T4 and this seems more the size of the T4 than it does the Micra. Micra is fantastic because it fits on a keychain. T4 is too big for that.

Surely this is a better hammer in a pinch than many of the things I've used as hammers when I didn't have an actual hammer around.

It's absolutely solid. And if you can get the VIP discount it's even better. Just got an Cotopaxi Allpa 35l for $180 shipped. Some big brands Als is the only way to get them discounted.
