I bought these last time, I use them for work. (construction consultant) Not overly dressy, but perfect for not wanting to wear jeans.

Not sure why but it seems like every style of their Extreme Motion line has great sales pop up EXCEPT the straight leg style (the ones I wear). I've caught them for maybe $5-$6 off before but rarely pay less than $40 each.

That being said, I've probably ordered 2 dozen pair for work over the last few years. I work in an aircraft mechanic position that is very rough on clothing and they aren't designed for that but the Extreme Motion waist and fabric really has been the most comfortable to wear of anything else I've tried so I just keep replacing them. Unfortunately, despite only ever getting the same sizes, every order seems to be a roll of the dice on length and bagginess. Some fit excellent. Others are at least 1" longer in the leg. There seems to be no rhyme or reason other than Lee's QC must be off so I just recommend trying every pair on individually before popping all of the tags and tossing them in the wash.

These are extremely comfortable but there's a caveat. The ones with the Lee label on the top of the right back pocket are probably 1-2 inches smaller around the waist compared to the ones without the label. Spoke to Lee yesterday and they put that down to colors and fabric. Made no sense to me as I'd expect all colors would be the same fabric and not change based on colors. Bought 2 pairs from Amazon and Walmart and both ended up being smaller than the ones I purchased from Lee

Seems like a decent deal. Check the estimated shipping time before ordering if you need this soon - some sizes are showing a month or two for shipping.

No. I would buy them at $20 all day. I should have clarified that the variant I buy is the navy blue color. after tax, they are almost always over $40 unless I catch a random coupon for a couple dollars off. I don't want zippered pockets as they can increase the potential to inadvertantly damage the painted surfaces or even cause gouges in the metal when I'm working inside tight spaces in the wing of an aircraft. These are what I'm referring to: https://a.co/d/eLKPRTEI will add that I did buy a pair of the khaki colored options as well and they are just as comfortable. I wish the sizing was more consistent but when they get it right, they are great pants.

That's very interesting. I would think a company as big as them would want better standards of quality control across their lines/sellers.

Do these sit on the waist or below?
Don't even think about below the waist, you age 50+ guys, possibly beginning to lose backside. 🤣

Funny things on these, the pockets are silly small... like my wallet (standard tri-fold) couldn't fit fully. Just really shallow. Had to return.
