This has the cheap aluminum ends. They will corrode and weld themselves onto anything you leave attached.
Brass has been the standard forever for a reason.

Just use a thin layer of petroleum jelly aka Vaseline on the threads and you will be fine

Washing machine supply hoses. Cheap on Amazon. I replace my washing machine hoses every 3 years or so and save them to use as leader hoses or drain hoses for water heaters/dehumidifiers.

I have same question! Frown doesn't make any sense.
May end up needing to make my own
5/8" is the hose diameter. The description says the fittings are 3/4" GHT.

Draining my water heater today and this would actually be perfect for that.

Like others said, one is for a dedicated bucket hose and the other is for my garden timer so its not jutting out from my faucet.
Yup. I have a hose bibb coming off my well. Something like this would be perfect to fill buckets.

These do not hold up to a weed whacker. I tested that out for all of you.

We were at a campground a couple weeks ago with water spigots but they outfitted them with bibs that spray water all over the place. I think this is to prevent people from washing dishes as these are designated refill stations. I realized a short lead in hose would likely make life much easier for things like this
I read your comment a few times (and have stayed at a few campgrounds) and I cannot picture what you're talking about. So you're saying they have things that WILL get you wet when the spigot is used under normal circumstances? Somewhat like a boobytrap device?

Its probably not super common but yea it was super irritating at the place we camped - you turn the bib on and it sprays all over the place. I think they want ppl to basically bring smaller bottles or jugs and to fill up but you have to get them right up to the bib (or covering it) in order to fill. The issue they were having with ppl wasting water must have been really bad

That is why I always take a g-force hose with me camping. This may work for that as well.

This hoseh maybe too short for most connections to a hose reel. The aluminum connectors may corrode to their connection points resulting in a tight bond that will prevent disconnection. I recommend applying a double layer of teflon tape the male threads at both connections followed by retaping every month or so. One could try substituting the Teflon tape with plumbers silicone grease but I have not used this grease for this purpose.
