Honestly, is this series a lot better than the movie it was based off of? Because my wife and I watched the movie, and I thought it was probably in the bottom 10% of all science fiction movies that I've ever seen.

on season 2, currently really been enjoying the series. tho I did enjoy the movie originally

I mean, I just couldn't get past the idea of a train that kept going for 17 years without running into insurmountable issues coming from all of the snow and ice. From my experiences with all of the problems that snow and ice cause, I found myself doubting that something like this could even go a month without running into some problem that would halt it in its tracks.
