Temu sells 18v 6.0Ah knockoff batteries for around $15 each. I got 4 for $50 free ship. If anyone cares.

Wonder if this can be bought in store/hacked. Have a ton of batteries and would rather get the light on it's own

I feel there are plenty of deals on genuine batteries, no need to get knockoffs. Are these batteries really 6.0Ah?

If you want authentic then go for it. Hint why I say "if anyone cares". I have the original and these and they never failed me.

Saving $50+ a battery is worth giving it a go for some.

Anyone know the temperature color on these lights? I use Milwaukee because they have a very natural tone and would love to know how these Ryobi compared.

I wouldn't consider power tool batteries some high tech stuff, plus IMHO power tool batteries especially the big names are way at a premium, also China has the largest and best EV industry, so maybe these knockoffs are coming from the same assembly line, just without the brand stickers🤣

The items have to appear as separate line items on the receipt for it to be hackable. It the battery kit was the for sale part and the light was included as a "Free tool" offer where you got to choose the "free tool" then it probably would be hackable

This looks like an all in one package, therefore not hackable.

The knockoff batteries use the same cells, but the ones that don't meet specs, so are sold off at a discount. They can be really good, or they can suck, only need one cell to go bad in a pack to diminish performance. At worst, they can be fire hazards, the guy we bought our motorhome from had his Chinese ebike battery explode in his garage and damage his wife's car. I asked the name of the ebike, and he said some cheap brand from amazon.

Where are you finding this in stock? I've checked a bunch of stores in California and Arizona and it's out of stock everywhere.

You are the kind of person who shares the link for the $10 100TB SSD on Temu to all their friends.

It's a cooler white light with the Ryobi light.

Save $30, but increase chance of burning your house down by 10%. Good deal.
