Kinda huge though, but also has 64gb and the 240hz mini led screen but at this price point, might as well build a pc and buy a laptop.

Picked one up yesterday for $3799 at Microcenter. You get $200 more off if you sign up for their card! Beast of a laptop! Expensive yes, but if you need a desktop replacement for editing videos and gaming on the go this is it. Grabbed a 4tb internal SSD drive to have a second internal drive as well as a 4tb external ssd Samsung t9 to export video projects to. If I could sugest something to Asus it would be to add a 3rd m.2 slot on these powerful 18" gaming laptops for people who do editing work etc. That way you have a main windows/program files drive, a drive for video files, and a 3rd drive to export out the video files. This gives the fastest and most efficient workflow.

How is the mini led screen on it? Is the bloom bad at low luminosity, and can you lower it enough to be comfortable?

Mobile 5090 is not even at 4090 desktop levels of performance. It's barely a 5080 desktop.

I love it! Amazing screen and the blacks are black! I have a 77" oled that goes ultra black without blooming and this is virtually the same. Its a great screen

None of which matters if you want a laptop. "But desktops are faster/cheaper/whatever". Yeah but I can't take that literally anywhere.

Though tbf a 18 inch is pretty non portable.

This is probably the most powerful, overspecced laptop on the market, or close to it. Built like a tank, micro led screen which almost nothing has in the laptop market.

Prices are generally high, but this has always been a ultra premium line.

Nuclear meltdown of an Intel CPU kills it. This is also a ridiculous price no deal.
