I just googled after this post "Is sour patch candy bad for you" and wow, it's worse than I thought. They sure taste good though. If I am ever on death row and get a final dinner, I will request sour patch kids (original flavor though)

Heads up, just received my order and they expire November 2025 so unless you plan to consume 12 boxes rather quickly, might want to pass.

They absolutely do. The texture gets hard and less chewy. Expiration dates exist for a reason.
