Just don't plug in anything with high wattage into rotating plugs, it's a hazard. I've had a rotating extension power strip burn out before.

What does high wattage mean ? Monitors or tvs are not ok, but phone chargers and wireless chargers are ok ? How about wifi speakers (eg Sonos) ?

according to the amazon product page it is "power rating of 1875w" so unless you plug in an electric wood chipper, it should be able to handle it with a power rating claim that high. Monitors and tv's depending on size but a 39" oled monitor is around 70w phone and wireless chargers are low watts, usually under 50w For speakers like sonos I doubt they are above 100w draw constant and likely much less. So really this thing, if it's power rating claim is anywhere near true, will handle everything short of something like a space heater, which means hair blow dryers are out too but anything less than those should be fine.

More garbage "surge" protectors pushed by SD
Only 900 joules surge protection (not even enough for small electronics (min 1000 joules)

Clamping voltage not listed so most likely no protection there
USB ports only provide 3.4A total

All that info is posted, no hidden agenda, no one is pushing anything. Read the comments as to appropriate use for this. It's $6.99, what do you want for $7? go threadcrap elsewhere please.

Thank you for mentioning ETL listed, I bought one as well.

Can we have the certification included in the specs for future staff posted deals?

I have concerns on those random things that have nothing but fire hazard.
