New tech comes out all the time.. This isn't rent-a-center. Other people are subsidizing your clownish behavior when you abuse their return policies. Do you think you're a genius exploiting a loophole by doing this? Anyone can do it. Difference is, most people aren't assholes enough to do it.
If I buy a TV in 2020, I expect it to have modern tech for like 3-5 years. I wouldn't dare try and return it so I can get a new TV like it's a loan program.
I really hope Costco cracks down on people like you and start enforcing a Social Security number to be a member or something. Just flat-out ban you and let us normal shoppers keep in peace.

I've owned this monitor for 8 months now. There was a older deal last year for LG partnership store with employee discount and stackabled ID me healtcare discount. I got mine for $600 back then.
Zero issues with burn in. The monitor has a auto "pixel cleanup" mode that u can run manually OR it activates when the mointor goes to sleep. This is my primary gaming rig and I've set it for sleep mode after 3 hours (and pixel cleanup runs then). I'm not hiding the toolbar etc. Zero issues after 8 months.
I've buried thousands of hours in Elden Ring, COD and Oblivion Remaster...newer games already support ultra wide resolution. Do note it's not a very bright monitor (my prev monitor was a HP Omen gaming monitor but non ultrawide).
The only thing is for excel spreadsheets, the curvature is a bit extreme but in regular web browsing, gaming, watching content, it's a god send.
I can't go back to a non ultra wide or non curved monitor anymore.
Attached a crappy picture of Blops 6 on this monitor.
