I have a Lectric bike with awesome customer service. Answer- correct. Their bike is also $1,578 on sale. Give me $750 extra and I'll gladly take your calls and send you parts. (Their battery is also 13ah vs 20ah here. )

This isn't a good brand. Answer- I've built dozens of electric bikes (and gas before that) and I've had Bafang BBSHD's die on me and noname $150 rear hub do 3K miles. You'll generally have more problems with the bike (brakes and tires) than motor, controller or battery (the only 3 components that aren't bike related). I've had bad CSC & Bosch batteries and great nonames. I have not seen a consistent correlation in these components.

2,400 miles isn't a lot. Answer- Yes it is. If you commute 10 r/t miles every work day, it would take you over 3 years. Maybe 5-10% of the bikes i fixed were over 2K miles. The single most of over 100's of bikes I've worked on was 8K. Also, a quick Ai search says the same.

Safety concerns. Answer- 24K of any kind of accidents on ebikes, 1.9M for texting and driving.
**
Conclusion- You could buy 2 or 3 of these bikes for the cost of a comparable branded cargo bike. That's like having 2 lifetime warranties. Your not going to get Sak's 5th ave service at Walmart, but your not going to pay for it either. If you have the budget, go with a name brand...your choice. Just my thoughts, good luck!

A friend let me ride on his folding ebike, I think it had 20" wheels. It was quite challenging to handle. I am not sure if it was the small wheel base or small wheels, but it wasn't forgiving compared to a larger bike.
