These new phone deals are absolute trash. If you can get past the new factor eBay is way better than these current crop of deals. And you can typically get a phone that doesn't have any marks on it.

for example you can get the 1TB version of this same phone for less in excellent condition from a major seller. My experience on eBay in excellent condition means it's basically new, you can't find a mark on it.

Finally it's a phone. It's going to get scratched and dinged up, it's supposed to be a workhorse, not a display piece. I guess what I'm saying is paying a big premium for new is not worth it.

Finally I would avoid places like Facebook market as they are riddled with scams in regards to phones though if you know what you're doing you'll probably be fine. reputable eBay sellers, some of them selling literally millions of phones that are used, is the safest bet.

For not requiring a trade-in, it seems a decent deal.

Trade in values are abysmal -- $150 for an Apple iPhone 14 Pro lol.

Can you help me with a link or name of one of the major trusted sellers? Thanks

Amazon prime day had the Samsung 25 ultra for $950 with 10% cash back. That was a better deal

The walmart deal, even with all the hoops you had to jump through, was way better at half the price.

Don't know if you can post outside links but I typed s24 ultra 1tb unlocked on eBay found a seller by the name of cellfeee (should be first or one of the top results) who is selling an excellent condition for $731.99. Comes with 1 year Allstate warranty.

That's not a deal. I got my S24 ultra 1.5 months ago from Walmart.com. Luckily, I was able to pay out of pocket less than $250 for the new device. Well, there were some steps to follow and there was a risk that the package may get stolen.
