TLDR: $50 *angled leg* option from Dick's Sporting Goods with lots of colors but no wheels on bag. 10' x 10' at feet and 8' x 8' canopy. *Thanks Dr J for mentioning the potential for smaller canopy on my linked product*
I just bought a pop up tent in early June after discovering what it meant to attend my 8 year old's first YMCA swim meet. 6 hours of baking in the sun with portable fans about ended me. I was about to pull the trigger on something from Amazon right then and there when my wife's friend said that she was buying one too and her husband found them for $50 at Dick's Sporting Goods. I've used it almost every Saturday since then and it has been great. The pop up we ordered was perfect and they have a bunch of colors. the bag doesn't have wheels but we use a wagon to transport everything to/from the vehicle anyway so I just bungee cord it on the wagon and go.
What did a $77+ umbrella base get you? 316 stainless?
Plastic. Probably got ripped off but wanted something with four wheels that I could move around easy and fill with water. Thanks to this comment though I just checked it again and there is now a $25 coupon so I reordered it Not as much of a rip-off now. F fake prime day deals.

Generally slant legs are not built as solidly as they can rely on the angle of the legs to support the rigidity of the unit. Also it's common for slant-legs' size to be the footprint not the actual tent size, so the covered area is more like 9x9 vs a straight leg 10x10. I'd never buy a slant leg unless the discount was substantial and then I'd almost consider the unit disposable, or at least not long for this world.

Yup. I had included the fact that it has slanted legs in my original comment but realized I got way too long winded and cut it. Not really sure why the build quality would be any different as the slanted legs tend to make them more stable when it comes to withstanding wind. I will say it is noticeable when setting up next to other units with straight legs.
I just looked up the actual dimensions and you are correct, the canopy itself is only 8' x 8' with the feet spreading for a 10' x 10' which is more than a little shocking because our canopy setup seems massive compared to most of the other parent's setups. I was actually a little embarrassed and thought I must have ordered a size larger than what we needed.
All of that being said, if straight legs and wheels are the selling point for you, I can understand why you would buy the posted deal. If you just want a canopy setup and are looking for a good price, I still can't say I would choose something other than the $50 option because it somehow diminishes the quality? I see positives and negatives for both. Thanks for adding that note and I'll update my original comment.

I have one of the Dick's canopies (I think I got it for $40 too). The weight bags are a nice inclusion for the OP deal. I think I bought a similar set for $30 from Amazon...so having the bundle would be tempting if you don't have all the stuff. We take ours to the beach a lot and the weight bags are a must.
Link discusses why straight legs are overall better than slant. Slant are cheaper for a reason.
8x8 is ~ 2/3 the covered size of a true (straight leg) 10x10.
Lol I understand the math behind 8x8 vs 10x10 square foot coverage so I'll probably skip the blog but thank you. Now I know that the canopy coverage of my unit is 8'x8' when I had assumed that the canopy coverage would be 10'x10' with a wider footprint on the ground. I appreciate you giving me insight into that aspect.
I guess my recommendation was for the very occasional usage, novice canopy user. For $50, I'll be a shaded novice lol
Agreed on the quality difference in straight legged vs slanted. Kid played travel ball across the south for years. Most of the slanted legs have a lower gauge of metal legs and often thinner canopy fabric as well that wear through easier on the corners. Often seen in the trash as you leave the park after they ripped or got bent up in a summer thunderstorm and the wind flipped them.
Not that all straight legs are the same, some of those are garbage as well and don't last. Look for sturdy legs, thick fabric, preferably sewn doubled over in critical areas like corners, etc.
Hard to tell that online. Our best one we got on clearance at Sam's at the end of the year. It's still going strong well after the kid's ball career ended.

It was a deal with limited qty.
