High capacity NiMH have a much shorter overall lifespan than ones of a more moderate capacity. Also, very few are actually over 1000mAh. Most brands that advertise higher capacities are simply lying. The Tenergy ones are the only ones I've tested that actually manage more than 1000mAh.

According to ccc, this is a pretty good price. https://urlhasbeenblocked/product/B0176DZN96 Can anyone else comment on how good a deal this is? I have eneloops from like 10 years ago that still hold decent charge, but I'm not sure if the brand has changed in quality much.

These have been this price (~$2 per battery) in all the package sizes (8-pack, 10-pack, and this 16-pack) for about 18 months. This is the regular price.

No, the IKEAs have been tested to perform better, but Eneloops are still good, especially at this price.

They're literally the same batteries. There's a variance between each battery and batch to batch that is the only thing that accounts for the difference. The IKEA Ladda batteries are rewrapped Eneloops.

Because they get more use, so the idea is you'll pay full price if you're buying AAA also.

For chargers, most chargers work… but usually in my experience the best chargers in order are: BQ-CC65, BQ-CC55 and BQ-CC87. The CC55 might be the simplest to start with and the CC65 has settings most might now need.

They are rebranded enloop pros hence why they perform better.

Lithium-Ion have their own drawbacks. Also, I'm pretty sure a 3600mAh Li-Ion AA would not currently be possible. Remember, Li-Ion AAs are rated in mWh, not mAh.

No, they perform the same, because they're the same batteries. You're saying rebranded Eneloops perform better than Eneloops? Where is your logic there?
