Lol I bought 3 of these. The edges are not sharp at all. Not smooth like eggs but def won't cut you or make your fingers feel uncomfortable.

Good concept, means well. Better than plastic lids.

But the metal edges of the lid are unfinished and thusly, VERY sharp.

Noted. Nothing a little sandpaper can't fix.

Why don't you just stamp your own tin, since you're totally OK with refinishing a retail product?

I'm paying for a finished retail product, not some DIY Ikea "some assembly required" solution that needs sanding, cutting, finishing, and whatnot.
I paid for a tv remote but I had to assemble it by inserting the batteries, 1 star.

i would purchase raw wood and metals to build my own desk if it meant i could save .32 cents off one of those fancy ones that come all put together or with the pieces and screws all waiting to be put together. if it was a front page deal i mean.

i have one of them and it's not sharp either. I like mine, it's nice to have a hard lid to throw on a cake or casserole.
