One thing that has always bothered me about getting tires from Sam's Club or Costco is, you're basically locked in to paying for a membership every year for as long as you own the tires to get them rotated for "free". Whereas if you do it at a place like Wal Mart, you.re not. By the way I just checked and Google A.I. says no, Walmart does not offer free tire rotations if you purchased your tires from Sam's Club.

These are the EXACT size/brand I was looking at too. DAMN, not even half of their claimed miles. ?
Brought it to another Sam's and they discovered the weights hadn't been removed when the tires were replaced. There were the old weights and a bunch of new ones. They pulled them off and put new ones on. Much better but still a slight vibration, I'm guessing the original guy didn't line the tire marks correctly or they just didn't do a very good job.
Fortunately when I got the keys I asked how it went. He mentioned one wheel had an extra hub ring. I asked if he could get it for me because there had only been 4 hub rings since I bought aftermarket wheels year ago. Went home and one was missing so I jacked it up, pulled off the wheel and put it on myself.
I could go on about Sam's, but I never had issues like these with Costco or Discount Tire.
I don't currently have membership, so can't see their tire prices, but looking for inexpensive 205/55 R16 and, for example, see that size Goodyear Assurance Maxlife at Goodyear.com for $84.
Will Sam's match and then discount a further $25/tire (says $100 off 4 of those)? So $59 installed, per tire?
Also their shops are great at overselling alignments at insane prices (my local wants $300 for an alignment... and no, that's not a "lifetime" it's a 2-Year one).
Sams won't match them, but usually Discount Tires will match Sam's if you ask.

Did you contact goodyear for replacement? Curious to know the warranty claim process.
That includes road side service, only place I've seen use a torque wrench and anti-seize.

I have a few hundred Walmart credit (also valid at Sam's) I'd like to use up on tires, and unfortunately the Kuhmo sale that lasted ~8 months ended literally a day or two before I was ready to pull trigger. Waiting over 6 months now for decent tire sale ANYWHERE on inexpensive tires (for beater car that I don't want put any money into but drive often). Really don't want buy one of mystery Chinese brand models for $50-60/tire on Walmart.com, was hoping this sale might offer something, doesn't seem like it...
(Yes, Discount Tire is best, more locations than ANYONE, over most of USA, quickest service, can make free rotation/balancing appointments online and get in/out in 45 minutes or less. They basically stand by their road hazard "certificate" paid warranty, worth it if realistically keeping the car for more than a couple of years.)
