Wait for the 5070 Super with more VRAM. I would take a 5070 over a 5060 Ti, despite the VRAM differences.

But for real...just wait for the 5070 Super....or save up a little bit longer and get a 9070XT at MSRP.

Given price and vram differences is this the way to go over a 5070?

I would wait for the 5070 Super, or spend a little more for 5070 TI with 16gb vram if you want to play AAA games for several years.

5070 is the upper limit of my budget, so what about these 2 options?

I'd find videos playing the games you play at the settings you actually play at. 9060 xt 16gb vs the 8gb. Everyone is trashing the 8gb but a few reviewers did 1080/1440 at mid to higher settings where most people will play since max doesn't look much different than high and those two are basically the same. I had the 16gb for my kid from Best Buy for $380 and snagged the 8gb for basically $210 and returned the 16gb because on the settings on the games he plays at 1440p, no fps difference. So it just depends on you and your use case. I have a 7900xtx and use the same settings as I did when I had a 3070. FPS over eye candy for me. How much are the 5070s you're looking at going for?

Depends, if you are playing at 1080p then the 5070 for sure as it's roughly 20% faster on average when not VRAM limited.
If you are at 1440p then it depends firstly on if you are playing INDY/FPS games as those take less VRAM so the 5070 is better for that. However, if you are planning on keeping this for a while and playing AAAgames with high textures then the 5060ti 16gb will last much longer especially due to new AAA games eating vram through forced ray tracing.

I went with a similar priced PNY one recently over a 5070 due to lack of VRAM and the cost, happy with it gaming at 1440p

Anyone who, like me, owns a 10gb rtx 3080 and wonders if this being 2 generations newer with 6gb more VRAM, wants to know if this is worth upgrading to... check out this video:

Spoiler: Nope, it's a downgrade.

Looks like 3 year warranty with no extension for registration. Did Zotac offer 5 year warranties in the past?
