The characterization of aluminum in antiperspirants as "poison" is scientifically unfounded. While aluminum can be toxic at extremely high doses (such as in certain industrial settings), the trace amounts in antiperspirants are well below any harmful threshold. The scientific consensus, supported by decades of research and multiple regulatory agencies, confirms that aluminum-containing antiperspirants are safe for daily use by healthy individuals.

When I was in my 20's/early 30's - I sweated like crazy even with antiperspirant- and all my pits were stained, and worse- slightly sparkly .
I tried CertainDri as that was supposed to help with people with excessive sweating... I followed the directions because I know if you don't you can seriously burn yourself... I still got nasty red skin burn under my pits where it was applied but it did work. I stopped sweating. Went through the whole stick and decided my armpits couldn't stand another stick so went back to my old stuff...
And lo and behold the old stuff worked. I think the CertainDri must have burnt away my sweat glands or something... over a decade later I still haven't gone back to excessive sweating... my shirt armpits don't get stains like they used to. I don't know what long term harm using that stuff could have done (if any) - but just one stick worked miracles on me... there was pain involved though. If you can stand a burning pain in your armpits for a month- worth a try if like I did, you have really bad excessive sweating that stains all your shirts.
