I swear I'm the only person that sees this issue, but I've returned a lot of the boxes for a weird bowing/curve that develops at the bottom of the drawers. I see it even in youtube reviews which drives me nuts.

Eventually this affects the function of the drawers themselves, and happens when the temperature drops below 60 degrees F or rises above 80 degrees F.

I have this issue. It prevents the sliding bar from smoothly operating into the down position, but so far it's really only a mild annoyance. I'm not sure if it affects, or will, affect anything in the future.
I also have an issue where the sliding bar hits the top of the box when traveling either way. Again, mild annoyance.
Overall I'm happy with ModBox, especially for this price, but it's good for people to know if there are any issues.

Ah, I'm unlucky in that it prevents me from locking the bar all the way down (it jams on some drawers I had) or gets caught on it.

I've gotten drawers that don't bow after going through 5 boxes, I'm just done with the buy and return game now seeing so many that are defective.

I use a 4 stack of these in my home office. Computer cables, small house hold tools, old or spare drives I still need, Cricut cutter and materials, batteries, 3D printer parts and supplies.

Also, In case anyone cares, the single drawer shown in the photo, if it's at the bottom of a 3-4 stack, this will compress and make the drawer not slide as easily. It's less of an issue with a two or 3 drawer unit at the very bottom. Mine sits on carpet in a basement vs attached to something like their roller, so there might be some distortion because of that. But I love this system especially at this price vs Milwaukee.

Lastly there are 3D printable adapters on the web where you can add a Milwaukee packout to these.

weird, I use mine above 80 and I don't notice any issue with the drawers. I never looked at them empty to notice any bowing, but no difference in function.

Lowe's has the same price and they are running a "buy more save more" thing if you are going to buy more than one. Also, a free organizer with the 2 drawers, didn't that in the others though

$100 for one drawer and it's FP. Ok SlickDeals.I get that it's a fine deal vs retail, but there are many cheaper ways to store your tools

have you tried ridgid pro gear 2.0 drawers? They make the most rigid drawers of all the modular tool boxes I've tested.

I was concerned about something like this. I tend to overload drawers (weight-wise) and have had issues with plastic drawers holding up to the stress, especially with an uneven weight distribution (for example, a very heavy object on one side of the drawer). Albeit, my issues/experience have been with cheap Sterilite drawers but the general concern still applies, especially since I would likely be putting much heavier items (tools) in this one. While it seems that the molded plastic is considerably more stable and resilient than cheap Sterilite drawers, it would also be expected to have more aggressive contents. I have been looking for a modular, stackable toolbox system, but if there's any doubt about the longevity of the drawer/rail form factor, I would prefer a more standard, even if more inconvenient to access, top-opening toolbox form factor.

The weird thing it's actually the face of the drawer, not the bottom—it affects the closing and opening of the lock bar, and on this particular unit some scraping when loaded

Packout doesn't have this problem because the front is a solid piece
