Took me awhile to figure out how to submit for the rebate card.
After you activate, you go to
https://promotions.t-mobile.com/, click start a new submission. Select your phone number for the T-Mobile Gateway and hit the optional Promo Code option, it is 250395. Fill out the information and then after ~10 weeks you get the gift card via text/email.
I got this exact promotion for the rely plan and modem starting June 16. Works well except for having to reconnect my fire stick to the Wi-Fi literally every single time I turn my TV on. I've tried everything and it will not stay connected. Still have not received my $200 gift card however it has only been 6 weeks. The speed is good for my area. If you don't set up auto pay right when you order service they will not give you the auto-pay discount on your first bill, even if you sign up for it before the bill hits. Not especially crazy about their customer service but for $40 a month it's decent. Update: got my $200 rebate card for the rely plan after 8 weeks.
Weird. I get 5G all bars on my phone with T-Mobile, but after entering my address, the site tells me "T-Mobile 5G and Fiber Home Internet are not currently available at your address. But you are eligible to receive Home Internet LITE!" WTF? Verizon UW it is, though I'm paying $20/more a month. Only used as backup internet and guest wifi.

Heads up, taxes are no longer included in price. It will be added to the price. It's part of a massive price increase at T-Mobile. With that said, it's probably cheaper than cox Cable and better speeds in a 5g ultra wideband area and with good placement of the router, or use an external antenna.

Keep the firestick powered up independently of TV....It never loses the wifi connection and doesn't need to load everytime you turn on the TV, it's just always on.

If I have a mesh already (eero) can I hook it up to the main router T Mobile provides for better in home coverage? I also have a Synology NAS connected via a switch from my eero, will all this work together? I'm novice with tech.

If your haven't tried it yet power your firesick with a wall outlet instead of the usb on the tv and make sure the fire stick is updated. In the past I've had to use an Ethernet adapter for a firesick so it didn't use WiFi.
I signed up for this hoping it could replace my charter internet bc their prices are ridiculous. Unfortunately It was 10x slower and i couldn't do my work as it couldn't handle having multiple windows open. Download speed was between 10-30mbps whereas i was getting 400+ with charter. Hopefully t mobile fiber comes soon so u can ditch charter
So if I am not a t-mobile cell customer and only home internet customer, how do I sign into my account? It says it is the number on the account statement/bill but is it not the same (non-tmobile) phone number used when signing up?
Use the phone number on the 5g gateway. I wondered the same thing until it finally arrived a week after ordering.
