The wired Basilisk v3 [amazon.com] has some differences, but has been $40 most of the time since last year. Re: bloatware, the onboard memory should retain settings without keeping the software installed, except for maybe the RGB settings, which I agree is lame. I used to be able to save RGB on the Viper Mini, but the full-sized Viper couldn't retain color. (Maybe it was a software-side change?) Not sure about the Basilisk v3 yet, since my unit is taking weirdly long to ship.

Solid mouse, good latency on rtings. Comfortable if you have larger hands. Likes to eat batteries if don't turn off the led. New charged eneloop lasts like 2 or 3 weeks with led.

To anyone that has this - how's the switch that triggers between Bluetooth/2.4/Off? Does it seem solid or does it feel like it would break after a few switches? I like these dual wireless options to use between a WFH and Gaming setups (ie: Bluetooth to WFH and 2.4 to the gaming PC). I love a Deathadder, but don't mind switching up the ergonomics at this pricepoint. TIA!

I got it today and it feels fine. Not something I'd be worried about.

I used Razer (mouse and keyboard) for over 5 years, build quality is okaish, RGB effects is unmatched compared logitech and corsair but the Razer software is one of the worst I have ever used. Hard to navigate, lot of bloat, bugs and crashes. I have since moved on to Logitech and havent had issue in the past year.
