Comparing this to the GMKTek 7840HS on sale at Microcenter, shows this one losing bad for more money. With free Microcenter Insider sign up that one is $400.

True, but this may make a better plex server with the newest Intel cpu for updated Quicksync.

This is WAY overpriced for the specs and performance... Only thing that it has over Ryzen 7/9 (7000/8000) is native AV1 Encode.

Good review by Iceberg Tech, from a year ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JekgXOyKAk

No Thunderbolt, USB4, or Oculink is bad at this price.

125H can use up to 115w!!!
8845HS uses like 65w max, from what I can find.

Components are complete trash plus various tech sites have found unremoveable malware that not even a reformat and BIOS flash can clear. Avoid

If only Slickdeals had a mute user option then we wouldn't need to see this false info post on every Ace Magic posting.

Please stop spreading false information!!!

Yes, in 2023 they had one shipment where they tried to circumvent the Windows account requirement and the hack they used had malware. It was also on the recovery partition so it would still be there if you used recovery to reinstall. But a clean install removed it.

Yes, that is shady. Yes, it was bad. NO, it was not in the BIOS.

Just report them as spamming at this point because that's all they're doing at this point
