Wish they would add usb c charging to this. The charging points rust easily and charger becomes useless within a year of heavy use. (Once you wash the mug make sure it's really dry before you place it for charging, to avoid this issue)

I have the tumbler and love it but beware the customer service sucks as in none existent. They have you message them on facebook with long waiting and constantly disconnecting.

Yep. Big issue with this brand. The other issue with Ember is their support. Love my ember mug, using it right now, but I have been waiting 6 weeks for my charging plate replacement I order from them. Reaching out to support yields no response except a bot reply.

Also, wish this was up to 16oz. 12oz isn't much in a travel mug.My ember mug 2 holds more than this one.

Maybe I am a fool. But I'm willing to bet for $100 you could make a super insulated travel mug that could keep hot all day and then some. I have had vacuum cylinder thermoses that could go a week and only lose a few degrees.

I've had mine for like 4 and 1/2 years, use it like 4 days a week and the contacts still look brand new and work fine. No idea what you're doing to yours

Is this much better than a nice $30 insulated thermos like a Zojirushi or Klean Kanteen that keeps heat all day?

Company feels a bit sketchy right now. Not responding to emails and taking weeks to ship.

These keep your drink at a specific temperature. Insulated mugs don't do that.

But if you put it in at the right temp, it holds close to it for many hours. I guess this would help if you don't put it in at the right temp. So that makes sense, thanks.

Same with a mug. Only 2 years but used it in Canada outside in the winter. And as a ghetto travel mug in the car

So you brew your coffee and sit around with a Thermapen in it until it hits 148, then pour it in a thermos and hope it stays at 140?

Why would you wash the outside of it? Wash the inside and use a damp microfiber on the side. Nothing on the bottom
