Unlike a lot of fishy posts here, I actually did buy this chair a few years ago. It's alright, but nothing like the top tier massage chairs out there. My big gripes are that it's for shorter people (I'm just 5 10 and have to scooch down in the chair for it to get my shoulders), it beeps for absolutely no reason when it starts up and is ready to shut down, the LONGEST massage you can get shuts down after 15 minutes, then it beeps at you, the you have to press more buttons to have a longer massage. And finally, when the massage is done, the chair returns to the starting position EXCEPT for the leg massagers. For some reason you have to use the remote to put that down. All in all it gives a decent massage, but I'd look elsewhere, especially if you're taller than like 5 8.
Edit: I did also buy from this seller, and everything went fine. I'd just look into a different chair is all.
A bunch of what seems like fake posters/accounts posting on this thread in rapid succession... So few reviews and yet every purchaser coming out of the woodworks? Doubt.
The site is reliable, I've ordered from them several times.
But if you have a warranty issue, they won't be able to fix it because they don't stock parts for these clearance models. The only thing they will do under warranty is swap out your broken chair for a "open box" aka used chair of a different model. They are unable to repair them and unwilling to swap for a new unopened chair.
I bought this chair from them about a 1.5 months ago. 2 friends came over and tried the chair and both of them bought them that night. All 3 were delivered to Los Angeles. Shipping notification hit my email in about 3 days. Shipping was out from Arlington, Texas. Took about a total of 9 days from the time I purchased to the time it was delivered. Had to pay the delivery guy and extra $20 tip to help me bring it in as it was only a single delivery guy. So those on the fence about buying it from this site, don't be, all 3 that were ordered from me and my friends were shipped.
I got a relatively unknown massage chair off Amazon, 4D as well, decent reviews but not many (~30ish at the time.) got it for $900 shipped. Has all the bells and whistles. Touch display, various modes, heat, Bluetooth, airbags including legs, zero gravity inversion, etc.
It is covered under my Amazon asurion subscription warranty for peace of mind. Been 2 years and still going strong. Looking at Amazon, they seem to have many in this ~$1000 price range, most looking the same (like an egg cocoon.) Is there really a big difference with these high priced ones?
Also in my 20+ years on Slickdeals, I've never seen so many "owners" chime in so fast on a thread, all with glowing reviews, no critical feedback. You shillers should really coordinate and maybe spread your feedback replies apart a bit. ๐
Bought one that $999 (Osaki Maxim 3D) from same seller few months ago. Is this better than Osaki Maxim ? Maxim has weak back massage and way too strong at squishing legs.
Not enough reviews on this site. Afraid to pull the triggerโฆ
I purchased 2 massage chairs on this website within the past 2 years. They are located in Dallas, TX, and are reputable. I recommend them if you are looking to purchase a massage chair. You cannot beat these clearance or overstock item prices ๐๐ค

"Several times"? How many massage chairs does a bot need?

Sounds like you got the best deal of all. ClearanceChair is the cheapest way I know to get the "brand name" ones, but I'd bet that many of the cheaper off-brands come from the same factory in China.
It's just really hard to compare because they make such an incredible number of variations, just like with mattresses.

What make you think all the reviews are fake? I don't know about this particular model. But Osaki is a well known brand, so is this clearance website. I researched Osaki extensively for almost a year . Went to their place in Arlington. Saw where they had spare parts. Went to a few places in Houston where I could try different Osaki models. I ended up buying the Grand Duo in February. I love it. It is HUGE and heavy but takes up the same space as my old lounge chair. I bought it from Costco, since they have a great return policy. One of the arm air bags wouldn't deflate properly on arrival but I called Osaki and they had a local repairman come in home and repaired it in 20 minutes. Zero hassle. A friend of mine sat in mine and got one the same week. Btw I'm 6'4 and fully stretched, I can use it with no problem. That's probably the tallest I would recommend. 4D was a must for me and also dual rollers. I'm not sure this model has dual track. I tried a lot of different Osaki models and highly recommend them.
These chairs are a big investment but a guy once said that you spend your entire life ripping and roaring. Why not spend 20 minutes a day where you can relax, unwind and escape to your own private masseuse. Made a lot of sense to me.

Not sure why a bot would be complaining about the warranty process anyway....
