Unlike a lot of fishy posts here, I actually did buy this chair a few years ago. It's alright, but nothing like the top tier massage chairs out there. My big gripes are that it's for shorter people (I'm just 5 10 and have to scooch down in the chair for it to get my shoulders), it beeps for absolutely no reason when it starts up and is ready to shut down, the LONGEST massage you can get shuts down after 15 minutes, then it beeps at you, the you have to press more buttons to have a longer massage. And finally, when the massage is done, the chair returns to the starting position EXCEPT for the leg massagers. For some reason you have to use the remote to put that down. All in all it gives a decent massage, but I'd look elsewhere, especially if you're taller than like 5 8.
Edit: I did also buy from this seller, and everything went fine. I'd just look into a different chair is all.
A bunch of what seems like fake posters/accounts posting on this thread in rapid succession... So few reviews and yet every purchaser coming out of the woodworks? Doubt.

Sounds like you got the best deal of all. ClearanceChair is the cheapest way I know to get the "brand name" ones, but I'd bet that many of the cheaper off-brands come from the same factory in China. It's just really hard to compare because they make such an incredible number of variations, just like with mattresses.
so why slickdeals allow fake posts to misguide customer. slickdeals might be making money but customers get screwed because of their greed. slickdeals should restrict the fake activities. some of these poster might be hired by clearancechair to promote their porducts.
You'll have to search Slickdeals for "Osaki" and read reviews of other chairs. They make a LOT of models and then have deals on old ones. You won't find reviews of this specific chair because of this. You can test drive another Osaki in Costco and get a feel for the brand but getting one of these chairs is somewhat of a blind buy.
I got an Osaki Pro OS-3D Opulent a year ago from clearancechair.com for $1499 to upgrade from an old eBay 2D chair I got in 2015. The Opulent has been fantastic!
I too got the Opulent from that deal. Don't know why so many people commenting on this thread think many are shills or bots. Maybe there are just many people who are happy with their Osaki chairs from so many Slickdeals in the past?
Can't speak specifically for this chair, but looking at the features, it's a great deal. If I were to buy one today and was able to get the Encore for $300 more, I'd probably buy that model as another poster in this thread commented.
Only other thing is make sure you have space for it. These are heavy and huge. Wife thinks they are ugly but they're very functional.
how is the warranty process. I had a Titan TI-Pro Omega 3D Massage Chair that died right before the 3 year warranty and the manufactuer was like "We cannot source parts for this chair as per the manufacturer. I wish there were more we could do to help; however, we would recommend purchasing a new chair if possible."

Titan and Osaki are the same company. So the warranty process will be the same.
I would never buy another Titan or Osaki. Sure it's cheap, but it's cheap for a reason. I wish I had spend a bit more and got one from Costco or a local store.

The 4D chairs at Costco are Titan/Osaki also and they're $5,000. You could buy three of these for that price.

I know, super weird being called a bot/shill. Other posters seem to be convinced that Clearance Chair is some sort of scam site for some reason. But all you have to do is check the other deal threads. There's not a single post complaining that their order wasn't fulfilled. It's a legit site selling legit chairs.
That it no way means someone couldn't get a better deal on a better chair somewhere else. Just that people like me who bought here are mostly satisfied with our orders.

Actually that's only half true and those of us who constantly get these threads know it. More than enough have chimed in and have reported to have terrible customer service experiences. So yes, some of you may have been OK but it's a prudent for the rest of us to call out many also have not. There's plenty of people posting that they had terrible experiences with clearance chair and that shouldn't be discounted.

I think Costco sells cheaper Osaki/Titan chairs as well. You just need to wait for a nice sale. I really like my Osaki Grand Duo. I highly recommend first trying out the chair you want before purchasing it. There's several places here in Houston that carry a large selection of chairs. Try before you buy especially if you're tall like me (6'4). I also felt more comfortable buying from Costco because of their return policy. Even though I had a great experience with Osaki fixing an armrest airbag. Their service was A+.

Higher end Osaki/Titan chairs are most definitely not cheap. High end chairs are $17k+ retail. Costco and most local stores carry Osaki. So I'm not sure what you're talking about?

debating between this Soho and the Encore. What would I gain by getting the Encore to justify the price jump? tia
