All EV sales are falling. Lucid dropped almost 14%. Over 20% for Rivian. Complete genius you are.

I've been trying to get a CT for a good deal but I'm just shocked they aren't discounting them at all. I test drove one yesterday and I can see why they have so many in stock. I was somewhat disappointed. Actually more disappointed than impressed. It tilts heavily turning the steering wheel, even standing still. It's how it was designed but it's trash a very low speeds, over compensating with the self adjustments . The steering wheel is far too small and the turn radius is way too tight. It's a truck, not an F1 car. Blnd spots are very bad. You will feel like you're in a building and disconnected for the outside world, especially rear doors back. I also drive a 2024 Ford F350 SuperDuty, I don't have any blind spot issues like the way I had with the cybertruck. I'm not sure who their target audience was supposed to be. It was like meeting your childhood hero when everyone tells you not to.

All you said is true. I did a 48 hour test drive of it last week. It's just not refined and for that price it's a little bit too far from reality. But the out of the box thinking for almost everything amazes me and the looks you get when driving it is insane. Have a feeling the face-lift / 2nd Gen will be a lot better.

I've had my CT for about 8 months now but its been amazing for me, and I've been loving it more and more with time as I discovered a lot of additional refinement they did.

There undoubtedly issues, and despite being super excited, and invited to the 1st round of orders in 2023, I held off my order until they had offered free supercharging for life at the end of 2024.

I would disagree with you on the steering wheel, low speed behavior, and refinement, but absolutely agree on the blind spots but that's relatively true with any large vehicle (which is why large trucks typically have so many damn mirrors). I've driven F150's, 550's etc. but the CT really feels like a normal passenger vehicle sedan that turns tight as hell.

Definitely think the steering is something that you have to get use to and warn all my guests who test drives my truck, as it takes getting use to, but once you do, its way better than standard vehicles. Its just one of those things that if you're expecting something you're use to, you'll be disappointed, but if you're willing to learn it, you'll recognize how its superior that what came before.

One of the things that has impressed me most is the air suspension especially on comfort / relaxed mode that led me to feel this is the smoothest and quietest vehicle I've ever been in. Better than the S/X, and super quiet that is Mercedes quality (above E class). I measured the noise traveling ~70 mph, and noted on my 2024 Model Y it was around 75-77 dBA but only ~65 dba on the Cybertruck which is on par with high end luxury cars in terms of quietness.

Vehicle must enter service (not just be ordered) by Sept 30 for the $7500 tax credit- after that it goes away entirely.

I hope they nationalize all the superchargers when Tesla fails. Taxpayers have given billions in carbon credits and EV rebates. Also, could we please stop listing list price cars, please?

The cultists love to cherry pick. Overall, EV sales have been growing, significantly. Q1 plus 9%, while Tesla flails down. General Motors, BMW, Ford and Hyundai all up.

Odd you would bring ICE manufactures that just got into the EV game within new sectors. Using BMW as a de facto is a bit odd as well. If I just entered new product into the market, any sale would be a positive sale. weird.
