Yeah, the Craftsman Brushless R+P CMCF940 1/2" impact wrench is better suited (rebadged DeWALT DCF899 high-torque impact wrench).

I just crack mine loose with a 2 foot breaker bar, lift the car up, then use my 1/4" driver to spin them off. Same deal with putting them on, just use it to go snug, drop the car, torque by hand.
It's also handy for small/midsize bolts, and larger ones that have been broken loose, but if you're talking about rusty suspension fasteners, get a proper 1/2" impact or use a breaker bar to start them.
