I still have a dozen jugs of various from other sales. After learning how good the Valvoline Restore and Protect is I now mix in a quart or two to my other misc oil when doing the change. I need to use it up but want the crud removal power of R & P. It is marked down on Amazon but you need to use a different link. maybe you have to use it to clean up the sludge around the rings. it takes like 4-6 oil changes but if it's bad it will burn oil no matter what

I'm using it right now on my Lexus. Lexus burns 1 quart every 1000 miles. So far, haven't had to refill any oil yet and it has been 1200 miles. Super stoked!! Get the r&p and see how it goes for you!!

It depends on where the leak is. If its because the piston rings are stuck like someone said likely it will work. If its past a seal maybe. I use it as a preventative like a safe effective additive instead of snake oil in a can. Put in a few quarts during change but in a sludged up engine I used full strength. Don't go too long on oil change as this dirt will be trapped in you oil filter and it needs to be swapped. I'd only go a few thousand mi on the first change with R & P then 5k mi on the next few. If its burning oil because the valve guides are worn out then no.
