I have the 5300 via Costco anode the three modules 2 of them have at least one ethernet port that is no longer working. I haven't checked in the past year but I also cannot use their software to pinpoint what individual data usage is. I was hoping I could get a report based off mac addresses so I could figure out how I was busting down my data cap for a bit of time like a normal route would provide.

Maybe this is more "updated" but for sure I'd get ANY type of extended warranty

Deco parent control is around $13 per year. Eero advance subscription includes parent control cost $99 per year.

thanks for the deal. Was looking for a new system to replace a tp-link x60 system that has had some issues. Hopefully this one will be more stable.

Wireless backhaul is amazing on this system. I have a 2020 MBP with a USB to ethernet adapter plugged into the satellite at my desk and I am seeing 820/630 with Alta fiber. These have been rock solid for me for the past year now. I paid $499 back in December from BB and at that time it was the best deal I could find.

I have this same model which is on sale. Since purchasing it in 2022 have had to replace two satellites. Just randomly turns red and no amount of factory reset will help.Tp is aware of issue. Would not trust it unless you need a temp solution.

Tplink made to many versions of this set and if you have the older version no more firmware updates and you have a set of tiny cans chock full of security vulnerabilities. Quality doesnt seem to be great either. Avoid.

During prime day I bought a Used - Mint box for something like $270 after the Amazon Resale discount but it also showed that there was a 25% cash back if the prime card was used. It didn't specify if the cash back was only for new items so I took a chance. I ended up not seeing the cash back and reached out to Amazon customer service who ended up giving me a $60 refund.

Great price. I got another $80 off by using $1 worth of Amex points. Been waiting on this model for months, pulled the trigger today.
