BOGO + $1.00 is practically just BOGO. Unless the initial item you're buying is like $1.50/$2.00 in the first place, but a dozen glazed is $13.00.

I might get this but probably not considering nearest KK is 9 miles away.

Has anyone mentioned to OP that it's not really BOGO but its BOGOGlazedOnlyForDollar? Just checking so we can update the post.Oh, also should note there is tax actually on that extra dollar too in most states!BOGOGlazedOnlyForDollarPlusTax.

yea it's a shame krispy kreme is so expensive now. that's why it's a ghost town. donuts only stay good for 1 day anyway. most people can't finish 26 donuts.

edit: i actually just looked it up. a dozen of theirs is 16 donuts but they sell it for 16.50 now. that's crazy. i dont know what their marketing is doing when you can get a little caesars stuff crust pizza for 10 dollars. nobody is paying 16 dollars for donuts come on.
edit2: since my post had so much interest. i looked at it over to make sure. here is what they show. original glazed dozen, 16 donuts 16.50. build your own dozen, 12 donuts, 18.99 even if you add 12 glazed. dc specialty dozen 16 donuts, 22.99. classic assorted dozen 12 donuts, 18.99.
so yes, right now their dozen is 16 donuts for glazed for cheapest price. also another one referring to the deal 16 donut dozen for 1 dollar if you buy another 16 dozen dozen for 16.50.

I wish I could get donuts for a reasonable price. Here in NYC, the prices are out of control. KK dozen glazed is nearly $17 and DD main focus is drinks now, not donut. Their donuts don't look edible.

26? Does your KK give you an extra donut when you buy a dozen? I've never had this happen, on anything... despite all the talk about baker's dozen... as far as retail goes, that doesn't exist, right?

Oh wait... a dozen is 16? Huh? Are you looking at the wrong item? KK does sell 16 MINI donuts in a box.

I'm so confused by this. Krispy Kreme sells dozens that include 12 and only 12 donuts. They do not sell 16 donut "dozens". Dozen literally means 12 except when explicitly called a "baker's dozen" when it means 13.

Never heard of a KK franchise that gives out 16 doughnuts when you order a dozen (12). Either the employees are high or they are gifting them to you because it is very close to closing time and they'd rather gift them than throw them away.

To those asking who needs 2 dozen doughnuts: Churches, AA meetings, any volunteer groups who are doing cleanup or other work and want to reward the volunteers, could go on and on. You're not supposed to eat 2 dozen on your own

$16.50 for 16 donuts is cheap. real donut eaters pay more than $3 a donut. you cant really compare donuts vs pizza though. and stop thinking that only 1 person to finish 26. i can stuff 4 donuts in 1 seating in the office along with coffee & another 10g of sugar in the morning

So about $14 for 2 dozen? Got 1 dozen off tgtg app for $6 but only convenient if you can pick up during that time or it's nearby.
