So no wifi control, which means you can't control it remotely. Given how cheap a 2.4wifi chip is, seems kinda silly. But, every penny matters at this price per wh I guess.

And that price per wh is pretty good. Just wonder about the efficiency and all that from these no name batteries

Also the solar input beeps at you in dawn/dusk times.... when the power comes on and comes off. Solar input is basically unusable, and should actually be called "Battery power input port" since it takes power from etaker and alternator chargers, but is a poor excuse for solar input

Unusable? Let's not be hyperbolic. Its definitely useable. It's limited to 500 watts regardless of whether you plug in solar panels, or something like the Etaker, or any other DC to DC charger. 500 watts max isn't the best input number, but it's also far from the worse. Considering 500 watts of solar can charge it from 0 to 100% within a single day even with less than perfect solar conditions & a bit over 4 hrs if using an alternative way like a large enough alternator charger or even just raw 24-48v lifepo4 supplemental battery storage. Not bad.

1000 watt AC fast charging and 500 watt max solar charging is okay, but not as quick as similar capacity Ecoflow or Bluetti models. Also, I don't see that it's possible to add an expansion battery to further the capacity.

does it have a programmable input priority setting, such as solar first then AC input? this is useful for a home indoor power station pairing with solar panel. The only problem with other power station is when both AC and solar inputs plugged, the AC is always taking priority, you have to watch out for battery drop to a level and plug the AC to charge it over night. Solar first will allow it uses solar charge during the day time as much as possible, yet provide a uninterrupted power with AC also plugged.

I don't know the answer to that. You'd probably have to dig around in the user manual or ask the manufacturer directly. good luck.

You could add a 24v or higher voltage Lifepo4 battery and run it directly into the solar input of this to add some capacity. You'd still need to figure out a way to charge the Lifepo4 battery when it's drained but by doing this DYI method, you can add quite a bit of capacity very inexpensively. The price of Lifepo4 batteries has really come down a lot recently. You could add close to 4000wh of capacity for 3 or 400 bucks which is amazingly cheap, especially when compared to just a couple years ago.

If you like the specs for this power station, take a look at the Solarplay Q2501. It has similar capacity, solar charge capacity, inputs/outputs and layout and it's about $150 cheaper:

The solar play reviews are pretty brutal about the AC voltage drop.

Review for this unit also mentions voltage drop under load. Also support was non existence.

The overwhelming majority of people that will be using this wont use or need anything beyond 500.
