bought this last time and the heating element inside broke. the display malfunctioned so it only showed partially. the water drips down from the spout after pouring no matter how careful you are. contacted customer service and they issued a full refund.

I've had one for about 6 months and it's good for the price. The water doesn't have to touch plastic during boiling or pouring (though I've seen one nitpick that while the lid is metal, the rim of the lid has plastic and can technically get touched by steam and drip back in, but I think that's really minimal).

Very happy at $20, this is a great price for it too; my only con is the temp isn't very accurate, will be boiling and states 190-200 (maybe an elevation thing, should be ~202) so if you hit boil it rarely hits the boil temp, and the default keep warm is always on
