I'm not even considering soldered RAM laptops for this reason.
Not to mention RAM often gets corrupted (a single byte is enough) and it will become a brick.

Remember the days when companies would AT THE LEAST give a gift card or something for the inconvenience or the good ol days when they used to honor the order fully. Those days are gone. There's a reason why I don't shop at newegg since 15 years ago.
