Why would anyone even post these deals? Just buy a dozen for yourself and keep quiet.

everyone keeps complaining about soldered ram, but seems like ALL laptops now that are thin and lightweight and not a chunky gaming one are all soldered.

Many make it seem like its the end of the world in all posts, and probably scares and makes the many silent lurkers and non posters who are regular consumers who probably dont know anything second guess buying when a laptop 2-3 years ago or more would be fine for them if it was a clean install

This is a special case if you scored, but the other deals, windows laptops going for $200-400, seem like its disposable after 5 years and its time to get a new laptop again before the ram needed upgrading.

Just wait for a soldered ram amount that you need and be content or go spend over $400. cant win them all

Mine cancelled also. This is why I never shop Newegg or haven't bought a HP product in 15 years.
Bro chill, this was a price mistake. They dont have to ship you anything. You go full on berserk at anything when you dont get your way?

You simply will not get RAM faster than 6400 MT/S in sodimm form. The signal integrity isn't good enough for sockets or for increased distance from the memory controller at those speeds. High end laptops might eventually adopt CAMM, but other than that, it's slow RAM or soldered going forward. <6000MT/s RAM isn't a big deal for most CPU tasks at all, but it's crippling for the iGPU and edge cases like AI.

It was a price error and only a few people were able to get theirs shipped. Everyone else's orders were cancelled
Walmart price mistakes often go through. Probably because they are so massive, and their online system is slow to react. A few years ago they had apple gift cards price mistaked for 40% off online at walmart. I stocked up as many as I could. Everyone who got their order in got theres.

It's because it was a pricing error and most of the people's orders got canceled. Do you not see when the deal was posted?
