I got a barebones M7 for $262 after tax during an AliExpress sale with 18% cashback ($38) from urlhasbeenblocked. Plus an extra $20 due to the Trump Tax.
FWIW my UM690S (kind of annoying that they have so many versions of the 690) with the same 6900HX was able to run Fallen Order, Forza, and Horizon Zero Dawn pretty well on medium settings at 1080p. You probably won't be playing Assassin's Creed at 4k but it does pretty well for what it is.
Not sure what Wifi card comes in the UM690L but the ones in the 690S are pretty bad, if you need wifi or bluetooth might want to also budget for replacing it.
