Lowe's is available via Uber Eats in my area and I have a 40% coupon on UE and gift credit I purchased at 25% off via Costco. WIth Uber One free delivery and discounted service fee and the slight markup and tip all included, it comes out to less than $11/bag delivered. Just got 5.

I just picked up three bags of this at Lowe's and let me tell you something if you order this from Amazon or Lowe's. there's a high probability that this is going to come solid as a rock. the problem with this product is the fertilizers especially this very fine. grained fertilizer as Scott's usually are very fine-grained is very hydroscopic meaning you're going to order three bags and they're going to come solid as a brick and you can't break them up. so unless you actually go to the store and choose the bags, you're going to get solid as a brick. I ordered three went and picked them up three of the last 10 and I was able to salvage two but one is solid as a brick. I'm just going to dissolve it in water and put it through my backpack sprayer. don't order this and expect it to come in a granular form. it's because Scott's uses very fine particle size and I've been doing this for a long time. I'm 62 years old. I've never seen fertilizer literally hard as a brick and it's a function of two things. a. we've had very hot humid weather and be the fine small particle size and see they keep this stuff outside in a non-air-conditioned area. so this particular healthy plus is very prone to solidify don't order it unless you put your eyes on it. It spreads real nice but even the two bags that I was able to break up the clumps it was jamming up. my $200 drop feeder every 3 minutes so even though it was still granular it was highly saturated with water. it's not a deal if you can't distribute it correctly and I would just really recommend staying with lesco Or they really go to fertilizer that you don't have to try to find on sale. all the time is Pennington 3205 full season. Pennington is the most state-of-the-art manufacturer of fertilizers. more golf courses use Pennington as their manufacturer Scott's is just mostly for home use and I don't like their super fine granular formulations because they solidify. that's why I never buy Scott's and I always buy a brand flip the bag over. find out how much is a maniacal nitrogen which is going to be instant release and look for the terms like poly plus or delayed release fertilizer. and after I make my initial application I just go straight with diesel exhaust fluid AKA death for you non-diesel driving guys that is $9 per 2 and 1/2 gallons. it works out to be 1500 because the urea nitrogen is 32.6% in the solution, but the actual nitrogen is only 46% of 32. 32. so if we do the math that blue jug 2 and 1/2 gallons for $8.88 you can get $1500 nitrogen that you can put in a one or two or 4 gallon sprayer and just put in like 10 oz per gallon foliar spray. let it sit for 3 hours and then run your sprinklers. you can go with higher dosage but once you've got potassium and phosphorous levels, you're just using nitrogen to push growth. but sorry for the long post but stay away from Scott's. their formulations are too fine.

Pennington, lesco and sunniland... Don't fall for the boutique BS like yard mastery and all this crap you see on YouTube. there's people out there paying companies to manufacture products that are actually product a put into a bag with the name B on it and then doubling the price. you shouldn't pay more than $40 for a 40 lb bag of $3205 full season Pennington and that's the bomb. nobody makes better fertilizer in my opinion than Pennington as they make ironite and there are companies out there. just ruthlessly expensive like the andersons or yard mastery or try to find a site one distributor and they sell lesco all day long. let's go. would be another great product but learn how to read these fertilizer bags and stay away from the Scots from the big box stores. everybody storing their fertilizer outside and with all the hot weather we're having, you're just going to end up buying a brick with this one

Right now is when the lawn grubs come out you can go to do my own pest control and get a 30 lb bag of granular 1/2% imidacloprid which is the generic name for Bear merit and that kills white grubs cuz the grubs are about ready to do their thing. so if you can get the Scots healthy plus dry and granular it's great. but even at $17.50 I spent $52 and I've got a solid 13.4 lb brick that I'm going to have to dissolve into water and spray through my Petra tools HD 4000 sprayer. so go on to the stores and palpate the bags because if you dump this into your spreader and it blocks your Port or ports. if you have like an earthway like me, your distribution rates get all thrown off so so we've just come off a month of 90° 80% humidity weather. so everything in the southeast is solid as a rock unless it's Palmer coated and large particle size

Depends upon how it's stored. If you get the last of the batch and they've been sitting under hundreds of pounds of other bags for days or weeks, then yes, you'll get clumps. The bags I got were perfect. Lucky, perhaps.
